Yo,
Has it already been a week and a year since the last news update? Goodness. Well, little has happened to be honest. The reason for the update is that there's a big show going on this July, on the 5th to be exact. And it's at Bull City Headquarters in Durham, NC. And I'm going to be recording a new album which will release on the same night. And it'll be free. Take THAT. Come to the show, Box Five and Charles Latham will be there.
Over and out,
Hunter

Dear Hello,
Hello! Happy May, first of all. So it is, the new CD is officially out! And available right this moment. Just head on over to the musica page to listen to a few tracks and buy your very own copy! Also, my first CD, "Most Days...", is now available for download in toto on the same page. So if you don't have that already, grab it. And come out to a show! There aren't many more currently lined up, so make sure you come out. Check the expositions page for information about that. And hey, if you enjoy the music, please tell your friends and family to listen. In any case, I appreciate you stopping by and I hope you dig the tunes. See you in the future!
Guilelessly,
Goodbye

Why hello there,
It's been a while since the last update, but a whole lot has happened. Firstly, I am the newest signee to the upstart Raleigh indie music label Firefly Music! And with their help I will be releasing my debut LP, entitled "Not Now, Nor Ever" on April 7th, 2007. It features 14 songs by yours truly, expertly recorded by Mark Paulson, with help from the amazing Phil Moore, Beth Tacular, Dan Bryk, Shannon Latham, and Stephanie Hryshchyshyn. More on the release show as I learn it, but put April 7th on your calendar!
Hardly,
Hunter

Happy December!
I'm back with some small bits of news. Firstly, I've got a new song coming out on Elephant Hug Records this December 15th. It's an online-only, completely free compilation they've so graciously asked me to be a part of. So look for my song on their site and on my Space. Check it:

Also, I'm finishing up my new CD, tentatively titled "Not Now, Nor Ever", which'll be out early next year. Mark and I did some singing with Mr. Dan Bryk, Miss Shannon Latham, and those lovable Bowerbirds, Phil Moore and Beth Tacular, and now it's finished! Recording, anyways. So we'll mix 'til the year's over and then we'll see what happens! Woo.
And lastly, I've updated the expositions page, so you'll know where I'm gonna be and who I'm gonna be with. Please come out to a show or five if you're needing something totally excellent to do. We can...play some backgammon afterwards or something. Anyhoo, keep visiting as always. 2007 will bring with it miraculous things. Hear you me!
For now,
Hunter

Hot spit,
There's a new mailing list! It's so much better than the old one, which was so bad it practically didn't even exist. So feel free to sign yourself up and I'll feel free to shoot you some news and novels and such. And I promise the e-mails will be 99.99% spam free. It's the best that I can do. It's worth the risk, I say! So stay tuned for news regarding my new CD and shows and other stuff. Take care.
Yours - His,
Hunter

Dear You,
I hope you are doing well, you. And that your October is going as swell as mine is. Have you ever wanted your very own copy of my li'l CD, "Most days..."? Well, now you can!
So there you have it, you. I promise you'll enjoy it. In other news, I'm recording my new CD still, which I'll hopefully be completing in the next several weeks. Lookout!
You,
Hunter

Dear Friends and Enemies, respectively,
Hello! I have some news, which is why you're here, right? Well, firstly:

Isn't that cool? THE Bowerbirds will be playing with me at the lovely Bickett Gallery in a week and half. Everyone must come because it'll be the best show you'll likely ever see. No foolin'.
Secondly, my friend and private filmographer, Ajit Anthony Prem, has completed the video for my tune "Indian Giver". So click on that nifty visuals button down below there to take a look. It's probably not what you'd expect to see, but watch it a few times and enjoy.
Thirdly, I've signed up for the locally and heavily funded ReverbNation.com! Lots of great bands have joined so far and there's nowhere to go but up. So visit me there!
Lastly but not leastly, there's a new polaroids section of the website. I often snap photos of my acquaintances at various locales. Now, finally, they are on display for all to see. So enjoy those, too! And be sure to come out to a show or two so I can put you in one. See you all soon!
Guilelessly,
Hunter

Dear Everyone,
In the South, when you ask us how we're doing, we reply, "Fine, thank you. I hope you are." So, though we honestly do hope that you are well, we don't seem to care all that much to hear about it. Still, I hope everyone reading this is okay and at peace. Keep reading...
Just played a couple shows with my friends The Sibling Project and I'm delighted at the turnout we received. It was nice to meet new people and to play with my friends again after several months. I've got another important show coming up in September, on the eighth:

It's a free show on a Friday that starts and ends early, and they serve wine and beer, too! What part of that recipe isn't absolutely perfect? So come out and see us and bring your friends and family, young and old alike. I promise we'll keep it clean.
More myself than ever before,
Hunter

Holy hell,
Greetings sports fans, I have returned. The site was down, again, but now it's back up. And now it's on a better server that's less likely to crap-out so I'm really excited. Woo! I'm back to announce several new shows coming up very soon. Give a looksee right here for the complete list: expositions.
Also, I'm proud to tell you that I'm going to be recording a proper full-length CD. I'll be starting up in the next couple weeks, working with the elegantly coiffed and always amazing Mark Paulson of Ticonderoga. It's looking to be about 14 songs, 11 of which you've likely never heard, and that's all I can say. It'll have drums on it, too. And piano. A real piano. So I'll be keeping you up-to-date on the status of that as it nears completion.
Lastly, my good friend and filmmaker extraordinaire, Ajit Prem, is finishing up a video for my tune "Indian Giver". It's cinematic and subtle and pretty. I cannot wait to see the final cut and show it to all of you. So keep checking back and come out to a show or two. I'd like to meet you!
Guilelessly,
Hunter

Hey, hey,
Hello, my friends and my enemies. How do you do? Me? I'm pretty great because:
1) I am in the Indy!
2) I'm playing with Snüzz this Friday at Bickett Gallery! Doors at 8:30pm, $6 to get past the woman at the desk. :)
3) It's dinner time and I'm really hungry.
SO! Please come out the show this Friday 'cause it'll be a fun one. I promise.
Guilelessly,
Hunter

Dear Everyone,
Oh, it's good to be back. I didn't really go anywhere, I just couldn't update my site for a while since the server went up in a fireball. So if you visited during the week the site was down, my apologies. Everything ought to be back in working order now. Awesome.
And with my return I have news of new shows! I have at least three to add to the expositions page, three that I am thrilled about. Tickled, if you will, to death. So go check out when I'm playing and then make plans to come out and see a show! I'll be there.
Keep checking back for more things and stuff. Until next time...
Yours - His,
Hunter

Dear Friends,
Hello! Here is a new site for you. Or for me, rather. For both of us, really. Isn't it spiffy? It was long overdue, as you know. I think it came out pretty good and hopefully it's as navigatable as I think it is.
Little new to update, however. I would like to announce that I'll be performing with my new buddy Dan Bryk at the Cave on June 28th. He's an excellent musicman and you'd be wise to take a listen.
Also, I've got another show posted on the expositions page. I'll be at the MarVell Event Center in Durham, NC with Sir Charles Latham, Esq. in September. That's gonna be awesome. Seriously.
So enjoy the new look and remember the new URL: http://listentothetourist.com. Look, no ads! Delicious. Talk to you again soon!
Guilelessly,
Hunter
